CREDITS

sibi the playroom has been a laboratory for creative experimentation.
organized in three rooms it gave the opportunity to the Asti citizens, for one month, to play sibi.
it worked in a really simple way. anytime someone wanted to try playing he had just to get in touch with the PAULI ACCOLA COLLECTIVE (curator of the whole event) and book a session.
the first room hosted a store full of materials (canvas, colors, instruments, paper, etc…) available for the players.
the second room hosted the software and was the place in which the players brainstormed.
the third room was born with the intent of hosting the first works realized in the playroom.
76 players played giving life to more than 20 projects, that were exhibited in october, under the exhibition name of KIS$BACIO, the first show composed exclusively by sibi solutions.

sibi the playroom was made possible by:
ArtMob, Fondazione Pistoletto, Comune di Asti e CRE[AT]IVE

Here you can find all the solutions made during the playroom.

KIS$BACIO
Final exhibition of sibi the playroom
by PAULI ACCOLA
October 14 (opening at 5 PM, awards will be announced at 6 PM)

KI$SBACIO is the first exhibition entirely devoted to the works produced through $B (sibi) software and its playroom.
In the playroom, the PAULI ACCOLA collective had the chance to play with various groups that were able to produce their own works. The exhibition will feature twenty of these projects. Among these, visitors will find politically uncorrect artifacts, Berlin flavored video-collages, amazing monochrome canvases, interviews with cars from the Eighties and flying bottles.
The kiss represents metaphorically both the prizes that will be awarded by the CRE(AT)IVE association (our sponsor and advisory board) to the three winning projects and the effects of love that arose during one month in the playroom.

"sibi the playroom is a laboratory for creative experimentation. sibi the playroom is powered by sibi, a game that can generate instructions to trigger creative processes. sibi will generate six instructions that will help you create a video, a sculpture, a painting, a song, a performance, a text, etc.
sibi the playroom will supply all the materials you need to produce your work."

"Alberto Tomba" is a work made by Pauli Accola and Paolo Catrambone, using all the remaining materials form the playroom.
